It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President's side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world's population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.
Resident Evil 6 promises yet another dramatic, frightening experience blending action and survival horror. In a first for the franchise, RE 6 sees series favorites Leon and Chris come together to face this unprecedented threat. They are joined by new characters, each with their own unique perspective and involvement, in this relentless outbreak enacted on a global scale.

The Siege Game Mode
- New game mod added to kill more zombies.

Predator Game Mode
- Adds the Predator game mode to the Extra Content menu
- Become the tracker Ustanak as you hunt down agents.
- Mode supports up to 6 players.

Onslaught Game Mode
- Adds the Onslaught game mode to the Extra Content menu.
- Rack up combo points to send hordes of creatures your opponent’s way.
- Two players try to fight off waves of enemies while trying to outlast each other.
- New Achievements for earning.
Survivors Game Mode
- Adds the Survivors game mode to the Extra Content menu
- It’s a battle between agents, and only the last man standing can be the victor.
- Supported up to 6-players in individual deathmatch or team battles.
- This mode pits a team of B.O.W.'s against a team of humans, with each dead human respawning as a B.O.W.
- New Achievements for earning.
Mercenaries - The Catacombs
- There are more than just enemies lurking in these catacombs.
- Be weary of booby traps ready to ensnare you around every corner! Are your reflexes quick enough to avoid them?
Mercenaries - Rail Yard
- Multi-level stage in the steel and concrete confines of a railroad yard.
- Enemies are lurking everywhere, from inside the trains to the roof of the yard. You’ll have to stay on the move to stay alive!
Mercenaries - High Seas Fortress
- An expansive stage that takes you from the deck of an aircraft carrier to the hangars inside.
- Engage in intense shoot-outs on the deck, but hone your martial arts skills inside the narrow confines of the hangers.
Map Pack A
- Adding the stages Requiem for War and Liquid Fire to The Mercenaries part in game.
- Fierce battles take place both above and below ground in Requiem for War as the largest enemy in The Mercenaries yet makes an appearance.
- Weave between three control rooms and narrow walkways in Liquid Fire, as special self-mutating J'avo close in on your position.
Map Pack B
- Adding two brand new maps, Rooftop Mission and Creature Workshop to The Mercenaries part in game.
- Also added future DLC gamemodes.
